Absent-mindedness causes more crashes than speeding, fatigue and drink-driving combined, new research shows. The 2008 AAMI Crash Index shows driver inattention is a factor in 44 per cent of all car collisions, whereas only 37 per cent of crashes are the result of the factors road safety authorities have focused on - speed, exhaustion and inebriation.

Stoner's race comeback crashes

Ducati ownership changes
The big three shareholders in Ducati have formed an "investment vehicle" called Performance Motorcycles S.p.A. which has announced a buy out of other shareholders.

Both Benelli and MV Agusta are developinbg 675 triple supersport models. The MV 675 is to weigh 160 kg and deliver 140 bhp.
