Why car drivers don't see bikes ....

Absent-mindedness causes more crashes than speeding, fatigue and drink-driving combined, new  research shows.  The 2008 AAMI Crash Index shows driver inattention is a factor in 44 per cent of all car collisions, whereas only 37 per cent of crashes are the result of the factors road safety authorities have focused on -  speed, exhaustion and inebriation.
