Membership Benefits

Membership of CDDC provides a number of benefits. Membership fees pay for the administrative running costs of the club including relevant insurances, a regular newsletter and the web site . Funds from membership fees are also used as a float for organised activities (which are run as cost neutral). The club provides a measure of liability protection for its members for organised activities such as rides. The club also uses its membership numbers to negotiate good deals on behalf of its members at local retailers and service providers.

Most importantly, of course, as a member you get to regularly meet with like-minded people to socialise, to learn from other people's experiences and pass on your own, to share the joys of motorcycling, and to extend the awareness of motorcycling issues within the larger community.

By making an application for membership, a person undertakes to abide by the Constitution of the club.
